My Style

...is linear,

...is layered,

...is constantly moving forward.

My work has evolved to abstraction, though realism sometimes still calls to me. Luscious textures, vibrant colors and elegant lines are what I often seek.

Working with oils, acrylics and hand painted collage materials, I approach each work with an open, self evolving, mind set. I may have a destination in mind, but the route just may take me somewhere new.

For you, the truth is simple; either you are touched by what you see or you are not.

Always surround yourself with that which intrigues you and with what brings you pleasure.

Essential Layers: A New Works Show

Gallery Two-Ten, Ltd., Colorado's premiere contemporary art gallery, proudly presents a vibrant, new body of work by painter Dianna Cates Dunn to launch its 2009-2010 season. Bold and inviting, these new paintings exemplify Ms. Dunn's ongoing exploration of human relationships and the many layers of emotions they evoke. Several of these new works have been inspired by the insightful poetry of Mark Mayer. The Opening Reception for this expansive collection of work will be held Saturday, September 25th with the show running through October 21st. Marianne Gunter, Owner and director of Gallery Two-Ten has waited for an opportune time to put this show on. "Dianna's work is a marvelous way to kick off our upcoming season. Her range of style continues to attract and amaze our clientele." September is always the beginning of the busiest season, says Ms. Gunter. "Opening with Dianna's work will set the tone for the rest of the year.
