My Style

...is linear,

...is layered,

...is constantly moving forward.

My work has evolved to abstraction, though realism sometimes still calls to me. Luscious textures, vibrant colors and elegant lines are what I often seek.

Working with oils, acrylics and hand painted collage materials, I approach each work with an open, self evolving, mind set. I may have a destination in mind, but the route just may take me somewhere new.

For you, the truth is simple; either you are touched by what you see or you are not.

Always surround yourself with that which intrigues you and with what brings you pleasure.

Many thanks go out to Rich Designs Gallery, Alcove Press, Southwest Art Magazine, and Cottonwood Artist School and Studios. Here's to a new season and many more good things!

The recently released book "American Art Collector" Volume 1,Book 2 chose Dianna Cates Dunn's painting, "Morning Coffee" for inclusion. This Alcove Books publication edited by Tom Palmer presents a juried collection of original art, covering the U.S. by region. When asked her reaction to this recognition, Ms. Dunn remarked that "an acknowledgment of this stature helps keep those moments of self doubt at bay.....it's a great honor".
